Daptomycin is inactivated by pulmonary surfactants and should never be used in treatment of pneumonia. Consider holding statins while using daptomycin because it causes myalgia and rhabdomyolysis. Treat right sided infective endocarditis while left side endocarditis has not demonstrated. 
Ertapenem and Piperacillin do not cover MRSA.
